Michigan Monsters: A True Crime Gothic is an award-winning podcast that focuses on Michigan's dark history. Since its debut in 2019, the show has released over 100 full-length episodes and garnered more than a million downloads from around the world! Each episode is a new volume in this living record of Michigan's forgotten history. The show has also gone through a couple of name changes- first it was So Dead, then Violent Ends, and now Michigan Monsters.

Host Jenn Carpenter has been recognized by the Missing in Michigan organization for her work bringing attention to the stories of the missing, and has been featured on 20/20, ABC News, Nightline, and other major news outlets for her investigative journalism.

Jenn is also the owner of Deadtime Stories, a horror/true crime themed bookstore in Lansing, the founder of A Festival of Oddities, an annual celebration of all things weird in Michigan, and the author of best-selling dark history books Haunted Lansing and The Cereal Killer Chronicles.
