I met Jenn at her shop in REO town in Lansing. She was so much fun to talk to and I was excited to hear she had a podcast and I have been binging it since then!❤️❤️

My friends were all listening so I started bingeing and can’t get enough. I love the personal comments and stories. It’s so cool that I live in the Lansing area and know a lot of the places referenced. Never knew the blue building on Pleasant Grove that I pass all the time had such a history!

I just love the podcast and the people who leave bad reviews 🤬you anyways listen to the creeper jk listen to any episode you want and bye ok I didn’t have time to write the last one fully but I’m a little mixed on the new name but I’ll allow it because I’ve been watching this show since season 3 ok recommendations creeper if you have seen jeepers creepers watch it Kalamazoo massacre Uber possesses a guy any ways by again my bus is coming so I don’t have time

As a Lansing (REO Town) resident I was thrilled to learn of this podcast through local media coverage and mention of the Fruit Wars episode. What an introduction and it was the perfect one to get me hooked. Capone was in my city?!? TELL ME MORE!! Jenn is an intelligent wordsmith and storyteller. This is reflected in her not allowing her vocabulary to be restricted and freely using four letter words old whites try to vilify… No, I’m not talking about WOKE. Fragility often deflects on others and may suggest swearing isn’t ‘ladylike’ and displays ‘feminine sensitivities’ to which I say… It is 2023, shut the Fu€k up! There have been numerous studies done that show people who use those ‘evil’ words are more intelligent than those whom try to restrict the use. These are the same people that try to ban books from schools and libraries, but I digress. Keep putting out the great content and laugh in the face of these clowns that have nothing better to do than look for something to complain about. Your swearing, singing, and mispronouncing of words and ability to make fun of yourself for it shows your personality and what connects with the listeners. There have been other podcast about true crime in Michigan and they’re not nearly as captivating as the way you tell stories. Keep Slaying Scream Queen

I’m from mid Michigan, about 40 minutes north of Lansing, and this is my favorite podcast ever!!

One of my favorite podcasts centered around my home state. Jen is amazing and her bookstore is a favorite haunt!

I am such a big true crime fan and finding Violent Ends (so dead) has just been fantastic! I love that Jenn is also from the Lansing area and I know the areas she is talking about. Thanks Jenn for being so amazing and bringing local stories to us!

As a native Michigander, I am loving this podcast. Jenn is the best. It’s really the only podcast I’ve stuck with because it is funny and varied, and you never know what is coming. Thanks for all your hard work, Jenn. I don’t know how you do it! ♥️from A2!

Been with this podcast since the beginning. Love her weird humor & honesty. Not so much the language, but that’s just Jenn. Love that she does in depth research. Most of the times she does much more accurate research than the big time podcasts. That’s what I like. Even though I’m not from Michigan, I find the stories very intriguing. She presents stories in such a way that everyone will understand it & its not too gross. She doesn’t laugh @ stories. More so she might laugh @ the idiots that are the perpetrators. I don’t like when podcasters laugh @ the crimes. It’s really in bad taste. And Jenn doesn’t do that! She includes stories from her own life & family & sometimes makes everyone feel like a part of the story. Love, love, love this podcast! She experiences life just like we do & tells you about the history of Michigan & about their crimes. Recently she has started including reviews from books that she sells in her bookstore about murders & crimes all over the states. You need to listen to her podcast! It’s great!

Jenn’s podcast is a perfect mix of history, intrigue, horror, and humor! She takes time to research her stories and each episode is even better than the last. I highly recommend to anyone who likes Michigan history, true crime, and solid entertainment!

You have been such a breath of fresh air- I am a fairly new listener, and I vibe with someone who tells a true crime story as if you’re sitting across from them trading stories. I love listening to how you tell the stories, and your voice reminds me of an old friend. And you know what, I LOVE your bloopers, I think that’s what makes podcasters more relatable!
